This is a great post from one of the many excellent writers I follow. When I saw the post it really made me stop and think about what today means and to reflect on some of the leaders this great country has had.
Many were great leaders, no matter the political party they represented. However, there was one thing they all had in common, they were only men. This is to say they all had their good sides, as well as bad. Strong points, as well as faults.
However, they are and should be held to the highest standards we hold dear. If they want to be elected to this honorable office if they want to lead this great country they owe us at least that.
Thank you, Beth, for yet another interesting, insightful and thought-provoking post. As always, I know I can rely on your blog to provide great content. Also, for anyone who wants to read some great content, take a look at Beth’s blog at ksbeth “I didn’t have my glasses on….
