I would like to step away from my traditional blog post to do something a little different. I would like to let all of you know just how important you are to me. What better time to do this than Thanksgiving Day.
Yes, it’s true I am a professional freelance writer, which means I get paid for the content I write (at least that’s the plan). And also yes, for the most part, this blog is my portfolio. This blog is is where I send potential clients to view samples of my past work. This is all true.
However, more then a portfolio, this blog is a place where I attempt to share my views, ideas and thoughts with my friends (you). I love it when I get comments from my readers (also you) because that means that you have found my articles interesting and informative enough to take time out of your busy day to read my article, post a comment and maybe even carry on a conversation with me or a fellow reader.
That means I’m doing something right. I’m creating content that is valued by at least one follower. That makes me very happy and makes me feel my content is valued.
So, from the bottom of my heart and with all of the sincerity I can produce, I say Thank You. I wish all of you a very Happy Thanksgiving. I hope and prey you have much to be thankful for, and that you are thankful for everything you have.
I realize that the Thanksgiving Day holiday is only an American holiday. However, my thankfulness transcends mere country boarders. My thankfulness is much more powerful than any simple government. My thankfulness is born from love and appreciation of my worldwide brothers and sisters.
With that being said I offer the followers of my blog a humble but heartfelt THANK YOU. I hope I’m able to continually produce content that you find engaging and compelling enough to take time out from your busy life to respond.
As always, I look forward to hearing from you!
